Ignition is the secure tool we use to send over the tax service proposal for you to review and sign. It handle the collection of payments as well.

It is best practice in our industry that all work undertaken is covered by an engagement letter. In addition, your payment information is encrypted and secure.

All filings are covered with notice/audit support from a reputable tax resolution company called Protection Plus. They will handle calls and any responses with the IRS and state. If you get selected for an audit examination, they will guide you through the whole process.

Identity theft resolution is also included through Protection Plus.

All sensitive information is stored on the cloud, rather than local servers. We use ProConnect, the latest cloud tax software. Tax returns are password-protected, and we require two-factor authentication for our employees and clients. We also go through regular security trainings.

After the tax service proposal is signed, we will send over a link to your email requesting your tax documents. The invitation is through Intuit. You can use your phone number, or an email address to create an account with Intuit if you don't have one. We will stay in touch with you if we need any further information.

Once we complete the taxes, we will provide your draft return. After your review, you will need to sign the e-file authorization via DocuSign so we can e-file your taxes. In some special cases, you will have to mail in the tax return, but we will provide step-by-step instructions making it easier for you to do so.

We will be around all year if you need further support.

Once the tax service proposal is signed, you will receive a link in your email that will allow you to answer questions and provide documents. After you provide all the information, you can notify us that you have provided everything. If you need to provide more documents after the fact, you can still do so.

Yes. We ensure all of our clients’ taxes are extended if more time is needed.

We will also do it automatically for those who haven’t given us all the information to prepare the taxes.

It typically takes 5–7 days from when we receive all documents and information necessary to prepare the return. Note that it can take longer if there are back and forth and the return has a lot of complexities.

We don’t provide bookkeeping or payroll services to focus solely on providing exceptional tax services. However, we can recommend awesome bookkeepers or a payroll solution.

If we did your taxes, we will amend them for no extra charge.

If it relates to taxes we didn’t do for you, then you can sign up for additional tax filing so we can do the amendment.
